I'll warn you now that this is going to be a long post with excessive amounts of pictures. I've come to another end of a semester... I'm starting to get tired of goodbyes, sometimes I feel like that's all my life consists of! The time I've had in this apartment, ward, classes, etc. has been phenomonal. I've become so attached to so many people and memories, it's hard to leave. I learned SO much this semester! I had so many hands-on experiences in my field, plus learned so much about myself. It took some time, but I've learned a good lesson about slowing down and making time for things that matter most. In my effort to do so, I quit my Papa Murphys job, pushed back graduation a semester, and added less credits to my next semester. Since doing so, I've had time for the little moments with family and friends... memories I'll never forget. This stage of life as a college student is so refining..I change every semester and feel like I'm shaped through incredible experiences continually. I love it. Life has such unexpected twists and turns but I'm so guided along the way and I couldn't be more grateful! Here is a small recap of the semester's events:
VALENTINES DAY
We made sugar cookies and delivered them to friends
and got fun surprises in return!

We finally stopped for pictures on our walk to church...I always wanted a picture with this sign.

We spent an evening making sopes... a delicious mexican dish. Oh they were so good. Wuendy knows how to cook them beans and tortillas! And it was fun to learn :)

Wuendy had a pet monkey, I couldn't resist "staging" him while she was sleeping hehe

We were able to go to Jr. Miss. Oh how I love that production :) It was a great show!

We found this cheese in the back of our fridge... the moldiest piece of food I have ever seen. I know, that's incredibly disturbing but it was hilarious when we saw it. Laughed so hard before realizing how discusting that really is.

Had some crazy experiences with doctor and hospital visits. Lets just say it's a wonder some people are allowed to work with needles. haha

I had fun spoiling my FHE group with lots of yummy treats :)

We went cosmo bowling...

Apparently I lay on the ground alot and my roommates think it's really weird and funny. This is General Conference.. haha Don't worry, AFTER it ended.

I love sitting around chattin with my roomies... especially when people take random spazzy pictures. ha this one is messed up, makes me laugh

Jamie planned a really fun bridal shower for Jessica who is getting married next month! I got to make refreshments :)

I love these people! We played wallyball or card games everynight the whole week of finals... nothing like procrastinating with awesome company!

Sometimes our games got a little violent..

I'll blame the cheesy face on the fact that it's really late in this pic- I love these girls!

Our beds are so weird. They remind us of coffins.. so we wanted to pretend they were..

and for some reason we thought it'd be cool to put the lid down...

until it fell on our heads...

Peace out ha What weirdos we are

One week of pure relaxing bliss and then a new semester starts up! Woohoo... I love breaks, and I look forward to new classes too! But I'll miss my apartment so much and my friends that have left me...I just have to remind myself, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" :)
