If you read my Thanksgiving post, you'll know that we spent the holiday in an untraditional way. Well, we carried our untraditional festivities into the Christmas holiday as well. This year my parent's gave us each the money they would have spent and told us to buy our own gifts, don't tell anyone what we got, then wrap them and place them under the tree. I must say it was one of the most fun things we have done! It was thrilling to see what everyone else chose for themselves, everyone got exactly what they wanted, and we all knew what we were being excited for! It was honestly a blast. That being said, the Christmas gift that I chose for myself is a new digital camera. And I LOVE it. I hate to admit that all I've done all day is play with it, but I can't help it... I'm a technology nerd. Here are some of the experimental photos I have taken on this our lovely Christmas day. Enjoy!

melanee i love the pictures, Conner always did that to pictures of me and paige, where only one color shows, or something is brighter than the rest. that's so fun!
