Happy Holidays everyone! What a fabulous week it has been at home and away from school. Our family chose to be a bit "untraditional" this year in our Thanksgiving festivities. Since this year we were on our own with just immediate family, we decided not to s
pend all our time cooking for just the few of us... instead we had our Thanksgiving dinner at Chuck-a-rama! We were graced with the presence of cousin Brad and both sets of grandparents. I'll admit... the potatoes weren't QUITE as delicious as our homemade ones, but the rolls and honeybutter definitely made up for it. It was a really fun little outing and what a treat to not have to do any dishes! It was fun. After lunch we spent the afternoon playing games together with Grandma and Grandpa. How blessed I am to have such a family! Besides lunch and games, pretty much every waking moment has been spent doing one other thing...

You know you've played too much rockband when:
1. You have a severe cramp in your thigh from pumping the drum pedal.
2. Your fingers feel like they are suffering artheritis from strumming the guitar.
3. You've lost your voice from imitating Jack Black.
4. Your eyes have gone crossed and blurry from staring at the t.v.
But I assure you it's all worth it :) We had a lot of fun anyway! It's been a blast. I love my family and the good times we share together!

How fun! I miss hanging out with you guys. One of you needs to get married and live in Boise--then your parents would be forced to travel over here and we could all party!! Hey--you can't blame me for wishful thinking!
What the....Melanie was signed in to my blog and when I left the comment up there. That comment was really from me--not mel. Sorry :)
