Girl's Night

Tonight was kinda a fun treat to be able to hang out with just my sisters and my mom! It was especially good to be together before Kaylie leaves on her month-long trip to Chicago to work as a camp counselor. Anyway, we started it out by going to the Cheri Call concert on campus. It was excellent! I have always loved her music, and it's so fun to hear artists live, she did a great show. If you haven't heard her stuff, get on it! haha She sure knows how to relate to her audiences and most her songs will touch you in one way or another. So it was a great concert with great company. What's a girl's night without chocolate? I knew we would be having a craving once the concert was over (when are we not having a craving?) so I prepared ahead of time by making this....I think it hit the spot :) (You can click the link on the sidebar for the recipe if you feel so inclined. )

Last, but definitely not least, we topped off the night with another great episode of So You Think You Can Dance! It's unfortunate Chelsea went home (for you avid watchers) but we enjoyed it nonetheless. If you haven't kept up with this season, might I make another suggestion- it's not too late. Look up the dances on youtube or find someone with Tivo! haha There have been some fabulous performances. ANYWAY, it was a fun-filled evening, and I sure do enjoy my beautiful sister's and wonderful mother! They are some of the best friends a girl could ask for :)
