One short month, so many updates!

It's only been a little over a month since my last blog, but I feel like I'm super behind. It's been a busy month! So brace yourselves for a little picture/update overload.

First things first... can you believe this guy? :) He is my hero, even though he was a villian in the Mr. Madison program. That was their theme, "Heroes and Villians" and we had a grand time pulling together a Vector outfit for Brandon. (From the movie Despicable Me.) He strutted on stage like a champ and had us laughing so hard. His good buddy Andrew (a.k.a Kronk) won the title with Brandon taking 1st runner up. It was a hoot and so entertaining. These boys are somethin else!

At the end of September I had my 22nd birthday! That feels alot older than 21. Weird. It was such an enjoyable day.. and weekend really! My family sure knows how to celebrate. I was spoiled with good food, gifts, beautiful flowers, and the best of company.

We used the birthday celebration as an excuse for heading up to the ponds to fish early the next morning :) We all piled into the truck and had such a good time. It was the most incredible morning! So clear, with pink clouds reflecting off the perfectly still water. It really was breathtaking.
The week after my birthday, my mission call arrived in the mail. Talk about overwhelming emotions once it was in my hands! Even more so when I read that I've been called to serve in the Auckland New Zealand Mission, including the New Zealand Temple Visitors Center. Pretty incredible! I report Feb. 22 to the MTC.

In the meantime, I spend most of my day with these crazy kids at my internship :) It's a lot of work, but lots of fun!

I also am continuing to work for my favorite family tending this doll. We have so much fun together! I really adore her.

I also made another attempt at a wedding cake. My dear friend Maddie was trusting enough to put her wedding cake in my inexperienced hands, but I am pleased with the outcome and I hope she was too! It's been fun figuring out how to do these cakes, I'm learning alot.

I think that's a wrap.

I believe some friends of mine are serving in the Aukland mission. Brother & Sister Neider from Idaho Falls. They are the parents of one of my childhood friends. You'll love them if you get to meet them.
