Another Utah Trip

My last few posts have been about visiting Salt Lake, and yes, we went again! Since school got out I've been itching to get back to Utah for a long visit. Kaylie and I went and stayed with Jamie for about 5 days. Bryan ended up going down that weekend as well, so 5 of us were in Utah and we all got to play together. It was wonderful, life is just better when you're with family.

On Friday night there was an outdoor movie on the lawn of the capitol building. We took our dinner, layed out blankets, and waited til dark for the movie to start. It was alot of fun! Then we had to make two stops on the way home to satisfy Mark's yogurt craving and Bryan's oreo craving. Whoever labeled cravings as belonging to women? :)

In my recent post there is a picture outside of East High, well this time around we got inside. haha We went on a little self-guided tour and it was kinda fun to see where everything from High School Musical was filmed. Just the thought of Zac Efron walking those hallways was reason enough to take a gander :) Yep, I truly enjoy cheesy Disney shows and musicals and he just makes them all the better haha

Tell me you recognize the pink lockers :) I love that they are still there.

On Sunday we visited temple square. I realized that the only time I have gone is at night or on holidays, so it was really enjoyable to walk around the grounds and visitors center on a beautiful afternoon.

It was a perfect day for pictures... Couldn't resist the fountain

Or the perfect temple view

Oh sisters make me so silly sometimes and we spent the whole afternoon taking ridiculous pictures.. but I'll spare you the outcome :)

It was such an enjoyable weekend! And the perfect start to my summer break. I'm loving some time off school- I get to tend the 3 cutest kiddos for work, already read multiple novels on my reading list, AND Bryan, my dad, and I commited to getting up at 5:30 each morning to do the Insanity workout. ha It's killing us, but oh so fun and challenging! I love summer. I love family. Life is good :)
