Lately

I've been a slacker at blogging! Okay, slacker isn't the correct term, cuz I have been busy as ever, and blogging just got pushed further and further down my priority list. BUT today I was kindly reminded that it's time for an update haha So I'll take a minute and fill ya'll in on recent events in my life. They consist of school, work, and homework... yep I think that's about it! haha I love it nonetheless. It feels good to be busy and productive again, and my brain needs to be fed after 3 months of nothing but lazy days. I'm into my core classes of child development- so my day is filled with gaining knowledge on the subjects I love most! I'm so excited about my education- the more I learn the happier I feel, and I know that the things I'm learning will be put to great use.

I was really blessed to get a job at the bookstore on campus. It fits perfectly with my school schedule and is such a fun social environment! I haven't had a new job in a really long time, so it was a bit rough at first being the new one, but I'm starting to get the hang of things and am really enjoying myself!
I thought I would be able to survive a while without a car since I sold mine in Arizona, but I learned quickly that 7:45 a.m. class living at home without a car is a bit of a struggle... so I found me a decent deal on this 06' Ford Focus and made it mine :) It's been fun and quite a relief to have a car again. You'd think attending "Spring Semester" I wouldn't have to deal with this. It comes and goes so quickly- on this particular day, a hailstorm started right as I walked out of class, poured down on me as I walked to my car, and stopped as soon as I got inside. haha Gotta love it :)
