What a special day we had! We blessed our sweet baby girl at the first of the month and it was a wonderful experience. Matt's family was able to fly out for the weekend to meet our new family member and to be a part of the blessing. We had a great time together and are so grateful for good family and friends. We love this little girl and know that it is such a precious gift and opportunity to be her parents and raise her as part of our family. I'm grateful for a wonderful husband who is such a good father. He gave Brooke a special blessing and we are excited to see all the good that she will do in her lifetime.
Brooke is such a blessing and a good example to us. I truly understand now why the Savior counsels us to become like a little child.
"For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father."
We are learning so much with this new sweet spirit in our home. We LOVE our little Brooke!
