And it makes me boil up a little bit inside. Who invented these things? Since when are children considered pets? I don't like them one bit. But that's just my opinion. I understand there are special circumstances and an exception to every rule, so I won't judge completely. But I don't see the need for a well tempered, only child, in a small town, to walk into a pizza store on a leash. It bothered me. A lot.

Wait until you have a child of your own who runs off in the middle of the store. :) I used to hate them, until I've seen how my little niece Sophia runs wild. Noelle has done EVERYTHING she can to keep her under control, and the only thing she can do is use "the monkey". Seriously, there have been so many times where we've been looking for her for hours at a time, and find her hiding in the clothes rack at the store. :)
