A David Weekend

It never gets old, waiting in line to see David Archuleta haha I almost do it out of tradition now, and it's always fun! He had a book signing in town a few days before his concert, so Tiffany, Kaylie, and I waited in line among thousands of others to have him sign our book. Well, I had him sign a book, and Tiff just left him an invitation and her phone number on her sticky note haha I bought the book for my dad for Father's Day, and had David sign it to him. My dad has always been interested in David, and loves to read, so I thought he would enjoy a personalized book :)

Gosh he is darn cute! I never get tired of seeing that smile haha I must say I'm a rather mild fan compared to those in line around me, it's fun to watch people go crazy.

And I definitely never get tired of hearing him sing. He put on an incredible concert last night. I'd dare say it's the best of the four we've been to. He has such a pure, powerful voice that fills up the entire auditorium.

He sang two new songs that he's never performed before, plus "Imagine" from his A.I. days. It was awesome. But the best part was at the end of his encore, his band left the stage, and with just some accompaniment on the keyboard he pulled out a hymbook and belted out Be Still My Soul. It was absolutely incredible. There were tears streaming down his face, along with the rest of the crowd.

Kudos to him for being such a stud.

Glad you enjoyed him!! Poor Aly went to Youth Conference instead... it was a tough choice, believe me. (PLUS, the concert was on her BIRTHDAY!!!)
Again, we'll live vicariously through you!
