I know my post will be one of many among family members at this time, but I couldn't not recognize the passing of my sweet grandfather. He was a dear friend and I feel blessed to have had him so close by all my life.
(Me and Grandpa- November 09')
His funeral was full of sadness and tears, but it was also a beautiful time full of music, memories, and lots of family. Grandma and Grandpa were married 61 years, which resulted in 6 kids and 35 grandchildren- all of which were there but 2. There is a remarkable strength in families, and I love mine more than anything!

I miss my grandpa already, but I'm so grateful for the knowledge that we will be reunited again as an eternal family. What better motivation to live a good life.

amazing how funerals can be both a happy and sad time. a time to miss, and remember, and enjoy the people you love.
