Driving has become less of a chore. Kaylie and I have mastered many outings thanks to our sweet navigation skills (namely Google Maps) and we are getting used to the busy highway driving. My car has been a trooper! Someone asked me the other day what I drive... I just burst out laughing. People here seem to pride themselves on their cars... I'm just grateful mine is still running!

I've finally found some work while I'm here! And yes it involves playing with Mr. Potato head :)I'm spending three days a week tending a little boy - he's the cutest little guy! I'm just getting to know him, but I think we will have fun together and I'm grateful for the opportunity.

Since my work is part-time, I have quite a bit of free time which I'm really learning to enjoy. I like to go running, so my third day here I set out for a run... and I was robbed of my cell phone. I then realized I may not be as safe here as I used to be, so Kaylie and I joined a gym. So I spend lots of my free time there and quite enjoy it. I also use my days off to pitch in on dinner duty. It's a blast cooking for new people that appreciate it and express it!
I also learned that the temple isn't too far, and I got to attend with these lovely ladies to do some baptisms. I have like four additional sisters now besides the one I came with, how cool is that?
So the settling has begun, and so far it's been really enjoyable!

Mel I love ya. It's fun hearing how things are going and keeping updated through your blog. I'm glad you found a job! It also sounds like you are really enjoying your free time as well. That's so nice. I will talk to you soon hopefully!
