Temple to Temple
This is my good friend Becca. She is one of those wonderfully inspiring friends that opens new doors and opportunities in your life. She introduced me to chocolate chip pancakes. But she also taught me the joy of being involved and serving those around me.
Last week she roped me into being on her relay team for the Temple to Temple race. How do I put this? I don't.... run. My exercise usually consists of a fast walk + slow jog + shorter sprint to finish. No long-distance endurance in this runner. But I decided it couldn't be too bad and it turned out to be a fun new experience! We had 8 runners on our team and it was fun to get to know each of them.

It was a long day but we all ran our leg of the race successfully! Mine was 4 miles which I completed in 40 mintues.. I know that's terribly slow for you runners out there, but for me it was an accomplishment, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to participate in such a fun day!

NOT terribly slow -- terribly wonderful! Good job on doing the race. That's really a great thing. How funny - a "temple to temple" race, I've never heard of such a thing!
YEAH FOR YOU!
Say hi to Rexburg for me....EVEN THOUGH I WILL BE THERE IN A FEW WEEKS!
good job, girl!! what a cool experience! I'm assuming the race was from Rexburg to IF??? or the other way around? fun!!
Ya.... way fun! i wish I had the endurance to run!! but way to go for you!!! and the school spirit thing... I never dressed up either... sadly. but conner did. he was great! fun updates!
I'm proud of you for even running at all. I HATE running and do anything I can do to get out of it. That's why I'm fat! :)
Good job!
How fun that you got to do that. I thought that was such a good idea and if I like running a little more, (and if I wasn't prego) I probably would've joined in the race. Good for you though!
