We spent the majority of our time visiting and eating! Clean up is a cinch with so many women around!
We also played several games, watched HSM3, and enjoyed a frosting demonstration from Aunt Rhonda... or should I say a giggle fest? :) I no longer wonder why I get in such silly moods... I believe it runs in the family.
We didn't limit ourselves to only dainty tasks in the kitchen... Ann pulled out the blow darts for some target practice.
My personal favorite was our sharing/devotional times. My family is full of such wisdom and it was fun to learn from them. My favorite quote shared was this...
" We all have dreams, but what we signed up for is the experience. This experience prepares us for the dream, which is eternal life."
What a great thing to remember and keep us motivated, I loved that.
Overall it was such an enjoyable weekend and I'm continually amazed at the love of a family. We all agreed that we are sure blessed to have the family that we do; I wouldn't trade them for anything!
