Fifty Nifty!!!

Here we go again :) hehe My mom and dad were born twelve days apart... SO that means two over-the-hill birthdays within two weeks. But it has been FUN! Here is what we did for my dad's 50th birthday.

It started with the tradition birthday breakfast... of course!

Then my mom and I got right to work trying to make his day at school eventful! We cooked a favorite treat of his to take to him and his class each hour of the day. 1st period- rice krispie treats. 2nd- (his prep hour) 3rd- oreos and milk 4th- butterscotch cookies and 5th- sugar cookies... BYU football style :)

On top of that, we had a massive pizza party at lunch! We cooked and took pizza to his classroom (Which we had decorated with black balloons the night before) and had a delicious lunch with his fellow teachers and some family and friends. As soon as dad walked in he got attacked with silly string by the brethren... hence the pics below.

Hopefully we livened up his school day a bit, and I think he enjoyed it! I had to take a few pics while in the kitchen all day, seriously my favorite place to be... i have a fierce love of baking.

Tonight we had some Angel Food cake... dad's very favorite... with bananas and whipped cream, then opened a few presents. We all pitched in our ideas and made a collaberative list of 50 things we love about our dad. That's the present he is opening below.

I don't think I need to tell you what an incredible father I have, because if you've ever met him you already know. And if not... well just take my word for it. He is the best teacher, father, friend, and example a girl could have. Happy Birthday dad I love you!!!

You strike again! How fun :)
All I have to say is that your Dad must have gained like 10 pounds of fat from all the food he ate haha gross, yet scrumptious
