This past weekend we were able to take a quick trip to Utah, and although it was short, it was such a welcome break from the stresses of school. There is nothing like a family get-together to rejuvinate the spirit! The girls of the Risenmay family gathered to celebrate Julia's upcoming wedding with a delightful bridal shower. It was a night full of yummy food, fun games, and wonderful company. Of course it's not a bridal shower without the aunts laughing themselves to tears while we all stare in amazement... this time it was led by my mother as she modeled her "pink bloomers." 
As fun as the shower was, I think the the travel time was just as entertaining! Grandpa rented a van so he could drive six of us crazy girls and we introduced him and grandma to the HSM 3 soundtrack. We were a fit of giggles in the back seat as everytime we looked up front we saw grandma twitching/dancing/moving in some way or another. She is so darling, now I know where we get all our killer dance grooves :) I'm so glad we could celebrate with Julia and share in the joy she is experiencing as she approaches her big wedding day! I feel so lucky that she is here going to school with us this semester and that I have become even better friends with my beautiful cousin. She is so great. Congrats Julia!!
