American Idols LIVE!

Well the concert was definitely a success! Wow, my Monday turned out to be one of the best days of my life! I'll try not express all my excitement in this one post, cuz it might scare you how elighted I am haha Just know that I am not even one to follow tv shows, or even WATCH tv for that matter, but something about American Idol this season just sucked me right in. If I had to put my finger on it, I'd probably say it started with an Arch.. and ended with... uleta. :)

Anyway- here's how the day played out.. and might I add it played out PERFECTLY. We (Parents, Kaylie, Brandon, and I) got to Salt Lake around eleven thirty, and we went straight to the E Center because we heard that it's possible to meet the idols when they get off the bus. And yes, for one day we acted like crazy obsessed fans (I did anyway) and it was so dang fun! So we went to the E Center and waited outside the gate, making sure that we were right in the front and prepared with our sharpy markers and t shirts for when the bus pulled up. Well we waited for a few hours, but sure enough, around one thirty the bus came and we could see them all through the windows! That alone got my heart thumpin, but it just kept getting better! So the bus passed us and pulled into the blocked off area, but a few minutes later, they started letting the idols out of the gate two at a time. Well turns out we were in the perfect spot because they came out right where we were, so there was no avoiding us. We got each one's picture and autograph as they came out the gate. It was so fun to see them all in person! The two David's are darling by the way. We lucked out big time! So that right there totally made my day, and I was satisfied. I forgot that we still got to hear them all sing live! But then seven o clock rolled around and I got real excited.. the concert was absolutely amazing! I was scared we would have aweful seats and not be able to hear because of all the screaming, but we could see and hear just great! All of the top ten performed three songs each, except Archuleta did four and Cook did five. They were incredible and I loved every minute of it :) Then to top it off, today on our way home, we got to stop at Lava Hot Springs and go swimming! It was such a blast, and such a needed break for all of us. I think I have the most patient parents in the world to let us do all that, they are so wonderful!
